Fortune Labrador Retrievers

    Fortune's Jailbreak, aka Buster, thrilled us by going Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes at the Raleigh Durham LRC Specialty in November 2010.  
He also won his regular classes too!!  Yay Buster!!!

At the LRC Specialty  in December, our boy, Fortune's Mr. BlueSky, aka Bevan,  made us extremely proud by going Winners Dog & Best of Opposite Sex for his first Major under respected breeder judge, Marion Lyons.  Way to go Bevan!!

Fortune's Bluegrass , aka Banjo, thrilled us by doing so well in one of her first outings with co-owner, Genie Craggs of SouthPaw Labradors and earning her first points!  
We look forward to more good things to report from this team. 

At the Labrador Retriever Club Inc. National, the "Boys" did us proud again!! 
GR CH Fortune's Blueprint goes BEST OF BREED under respected breeder judge Lisa Weiss and his brother, CH Fortune's Feet Don't Fail Me Now goes SELECT DOG!  This was an amazing day for us and we're pretty sure we made history with littermates going Best of Breed & Select at the National!!  All we can say is WOW!! 

At the Raleigh Durham LRC in November, under respected breeder-judge Patty Block, CH Fortune's Feet Don't Fail Me Now goes Best of Breed his first time being shown as a champion!!  The following day, under breeder-judge Sharon Celantano, Gladney goes
Select Dog!!  Needless to say, we are thrilled!!

At the Bare Bones LRC in October, the "Boys" had another great show!!!  Under respected breeder-judge Trudy Rose, Fortune's Feet Don't Fail Me Now, went Winners Dog, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED to finish his show championship!!  Not to be outdone, his brother, CH Fortune's Blueprint  went Select Dog!   And, to top it off, our son, Alex won his Novice Junior Showmanship class showing CH Fortune's Outside the Bun at Grayson!! What an incredible day for all of us!!

At the Greater Atlanta LRC, CH Fortune's Blueprint goes Best of Opposite Sex under breeder-judge Janet Farmillette.  The following day, Fortune's Jailbreak goes Winners Dog to become CHAMPION Fortune's Jailbreak!!  And the last day, under breeder-judge Gail Shearer, CH Fortune's Blueprint goes BEST OF BREED and his brother, Fortune's Feet Don't Fail Me Now goes Reserve Winners Dog!!!  What a great few days of shows!!

Fortune's Watch It Wiggle, aka Jello, at the August Kennel Club shows, recently went Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite Sex both days of the show circuit!!  Obviously that wigglin' paid off!!!

Fortune's Feet Don't Fail Me Now, aka Gladney, blew us away by going Winners Dog, Best of Winners & Best of Breed both days of the Pinehurst Kennel Club shows.  As if this wasn't enough, he took back to back Sporting Group 1's!!!!  This is an amazing feat for a Labrador, but an even bigger one considering he did it out of the classes!!  WOO HOO Gladney!!!

one day of the Raleigh circuit shows for his 2nd major & then, on the final day of the circuit, Buster goes Winners Dog, Best of Winners  & Best of Breed for his 3rd major under respected breeder judge, Wendy McNaughton.
All we can say is WOW!! 

    Fortune's Blueprint, aka Franklin, goes Winners Dog,
Best of Winners & Best of Breed at the Hilton Head Island Kennel Club shows to become our newest home grown CHAMPION Fortune's Blueprint!!

    At the LRC Piedmont Specialty held in February,
Fortune's Jailbreak, aka Buster, (an Angus son) thrilled all of us by going
Winners Dog & earning a Judges Award of Merit!! 
This is only his 3rd show ever and we're very excited about this young man!!! 

 At the LRC Piedmont Specialty , our son, Alex,
showed CH Dickendall Buckstone Thunderstruck 
in BEST OF BREED and earned a prestigious Judges Award of Merit! 
From Veterans to Juniors- what a great team!!  Way to go Alex & Angus!!!

  At the Coastal SC LRC supported entry shows held
in January, our boy Fortune's Blueprint went Winners Dog and was awarded a prestigious Judges Award of Merit by respected judge Sharon Celantano!!

and Best of Winners!!!  Woo Hoo Franklin!!

Gladney was not going to be outdone by his brother!!!

 Our son, Alex, and his bud, CH Dickendall Buckstone Thunderstruck, aka Angus  
taking first place in Veteran Sweepstakes at the Raleigh Durham LRC Specialty.
This was Angus' first time being shown as a Veteran and Alex's first time ever showing dogs!!  They both did a fantastic job of taking care of each other!!!

    At the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac Specialty, the largest Labrador  
Retriever show in the world, with approx. 1500 entries, our boy, Fortune's Feet Don't Fail Me Now, WOWED us by going Reserve Winners Dog!!! 
Needless to say, we were & are still thrilled, and it sure made for an easy car ride home!!!  Special thanks to everyone for cheering us on!!!
